Morning Mantras To Boost Confidence and Self-Esteem

Positive thinking, mantras, positive self-talk, and self-confidence therapy can all help develop confidence. For most of us, it’s easier to get down on ourselves than it is to build ourselves up. We often don’t get enough love from the world. Our loved ones aren’t always there for us when we need them.  Our superiors never hesitate to tell us what we did wrong.  Those we "look up to" often withhold their acceptance.  All the people we read about in the news or on social media seem to be doing much better than we can dream to do.

Confidence doesn’t have to be bold, brash, or belligerent.  It can be quiet, gentle, and steady, like the seed that grows day-by-day into its fullness, when fed with the proper nutrients and the right environmental conditions.  Confidence isn’t about never making mistakes; it is the ability to keep going and keep pushing forward. You gain confidence as you take action. Sitting back and worrying about your lack of confidence will not change anything. Taking one small step towards your goals will pay back big-time.

For me, it all begins with a good mantra to feed me all day long so that when I get to the end of my day, I feel like I’ve given it my all.  So try it.  Do something truly important today.  Love yourself.  Be your own source of warmth, light, and encouragement.  Commit to declaring one or more of the below mantras in order to begin increasing your self-esteem, confidence, and positive energy.  Good things start from within.

1.  I’m in charge of my life.  I make the best possible decisions for myself based on what I know in the present moment.

2.   I am enough.  I do enough.   I have enough.  I am worth it.

3.  Low self-esteem is an old story I’m no longer willing to tell myself.

4.  I do my best.  At the same time, I know I’m not necessarily in control of the outcome. I won’t lose my confidence if things don’t go my way.

5.  Today I am capable of handling anything that happens.

6.  I replace “I must”, “I should” and “I have to” with “I choose”.

7.  I choose to be happy right now. I love my life.

8.   I am courageous. I am willing to act in spite of any fear.

9.  I am a powerful creator. I create the life I want.

10.  I inhale confidence and exhale fear.

11.  I have integrity. I am totally reliable. I do what I say.

12.  Saying no is one of the most powerful things that I can do for myself.
